1) ESPRESSO MAKER FAQ (LINEA SUPREMA)

a) Materials & Construction

What is the Linea Suprema made of?

The Linea Suprema uses two premium grades of stainless steel:

Upper Chamber, Main Body, Filter and every part that makes contact with your coffee is made from : 100% 304 stainless steel

Food-grade

Corrosion-resistant

Delivers the cleanest, purest flavor

Base: 430 stainless steel

Specially selected for induction stove compatibility

Magnetic properties allow it to work on all stove types

 

There is no aluminum, no plastic, no paint, and no coatings inside the brewer.


Why 304 stainless steel for the body?

304 stainless steel is the gold standard for food purity, durability, and preventing metallic taste.


Why 430 stainless steel for the base?

430 stainless steel contains magnetic properties required for induction cooking, allowing the Linea Suprema to work on induction, gas, electric, and ceramic stoves.

 

b) Brewing & Use

What cup sizes does the moka pot produce?

Italian “cups” refer to espresso portions, not American mug sizes:

12-cup: ~18–20 oz


How long does brewing take?

Approximately 4–6 minutes, depending on heat level.


What grind size should I use?

Use a medium-fine grind — finer than pour-over but slightly coarser than espresso.


Does it produce crema?

Yes — stainless steel heat retention enhances crema formation.

 

c) Maintenance & Care


Is it dishwasher safe?

We recommend handwashing ONLY to protect the PVD finish and longevity.


How do I clean the inside?

Rinse with warm water

Avoid soap inside the bottom boiler

Let it air dry completely


Will stainless steel rust or discolor?

304 stainless steel is highly corrosion-resistant. Overtime the interior may develop a light coffee coloration from natural oils. This is normal, safe and does not affect taste. It can be washed away with soft sponge and a 3:1 part solution of Baking powder and Water.

 

d) Troubleshooting

Steam leaking between chambers?

Check:

proper tightening of the top chamber

filter basket placement


Coffee tastes burnt or bitter?

Common reasons:

heat is too high

grind is too fine

coffee is old or over-extracted


Coffee is weak or watery?

Causes:

grind too coarse

low heat

underfilled coffee basket

What grind range does it support?

How much coffee does it hold?

Approx. 28 g capacity.

 

Is it good for espresso?

Yes — the micro-click system provides espresso-level precision.


Does titanium coating affect taste?

No — TiN is food-safe, heat-resistant, and our TiN coating design helps burrs stay sharp for almost a decade.


Maintenance

How do I clean it?

Open burr chamber

Brush out grounds and Also use the blower to remove tiny coffee grinds

Do not use water or soap

Do not wash the burrs under running water


When do burrs need replacement?

Designed and Built to handle  250–300 kg of coffee ~ 10+ years of daily home use before burr replacement.


Troubleshooting

Grind feels uneven?

Check that:

burr chamber is tightened

grinder is clean

you’re not using overly oily beans


Grinder feels tight at finest settings?

Normal — burr spacing is extremely close.

Loosen 2–3 clicks for smoother rotation.
